Aubrey Balkind
Former founder and CEO of Frankfurt Balkind, one of the world's leading marketing strategy/design firms. Aubrey
led many projects and consulted with the CXO's of major companies in the technology, telecom, finance, publish-
ing and education arenas. Founded in1972 with offices in NY, LA and SF, Frankfurt Balkind was sold to Interpublic
in 2002.
Passionate about preventative health, cultural lifestyles and evolving spiritual consciousness, Aubrey practices yoga
and meditation, collects contemporary African art and rides bikes. He has a BA (economics) from Witwatersrand
University, Johannesburg; an MBA from Columbia; and an incomplete PhD in Urban Planning (NYU). He served on
the board of the Strategic Dialog Center alongside former leaders such as Gorbachev, De Klerk, Major, and Barak.

At Platform Equity, a NY based private equity group focused on media, Devin worked as a consultant to clients im-
mersed in progressive media and social networking. He is a co-founder of BeExtraordinary.org, a web application
company that makes fundraising more effective, more entertaining and more social. It brings socially conscious
users and businesses looking for high value social and financial returns together and, then, weaves that process
into the social fabric of the internet. Graduating from Northwestern University, he is a winner in three categories
of the first Northwestern University Venture Challenge for graduate and undergraduate students.
An avid reader, passionate traveler, and media/news junkie, Devin also excels as a tire changer (having worked at
Steve and Francine's Complete Body Shop in NYC).

Harriett gained her branding experience at Landor in San Francisco, later founding Harriett Levin Associates,
PR & Marketing. Upon moving her firm to New York, she later joined Frankfurt Balkind as a partner focused on
business development, brand strategy, and the web. She led a wealth of assignments requiring interdisciplinary
thinking for Fortune 500 companies, start-ups and non-profits, also acting as editorial director and sometimes
copywriter for every media form — catalogues, web sites, brochures, magazines, advertising.
Today Harriett is primarily focused on snoety.com™, short for Secrets No One Ever Told You, a blog-azine she
founded that's directed to savvy, involved, upscale women. Other passions include her family and friends, read-
ing, exercise, many things African and now she's really getting into orangutans.
